Battle Arts Professional Wrestling takes over the Don Kolov Arena @ Battle Arts Academy tonight, as they present several blockbuster match-ups, many of which have been announced ahead of time, and fans are greatly anticipating the action. It is unknown if landlord Pasquale di Papa’s new Heavyweight Champion Randy Reign will be competing, but the former champion, Mike Dorosti, will face the man that cost him the title, J.P. Morgado. For whatever reason, Morgado interfered in the Triple Threat Heavyweight Title match at Summer Heat, knocking Dorosti out with what appeared to be a pair of brass knuckles, allowing Randy Reign to win the championship.
In other action, it’s a match of historic proportions as legendary Japanese BATTLARTS founder Yuki Ishikawa teams with Hornet to take on Freedom Wallace and his cousin Bradford Montague. This is the first time in seven months that either Ishikawa or Hornet will compete in a Battle Arts ring.
The Battle Arts women will be in action as Aria “Wild” Sapphire meets the supposed main squeeze of The Latin Lover, Jessie Mac, as she makes her singles debut after last month’s mixed tag loss to Nick WIldey & Rachel.
Speaking of which, Nick seems to have moved from one conflict right into another as he his faced with the challenge of the maniacal Buck Gunderson.
The Light Heavyweight Champion Dustin Quicksilver will be competing against T.O., but it will be a non-title bout, and the former Heavyweight Champion Karou meets newcomer Sam Osborne in singles action.
Bell time is 7 p.m. at the Don Kolov Arena inside Battle Arts Academy, 4880 Tomken Rd., in Mississauga, Ontario. Tickets are $20 and are available here and at the Academy.
See you in the arena!
